A rich and moist chocolate cake, perfect for birthdays and celebrations. Easy to make and a rewarding treat.
Ingredients

- 2 cups of Wheat Flour
- 100 g of Dark or Milk Chocolate
- 1 cup of Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup of Milk
- 200 g of Butter
- 3 Eggs
- 2 tbsp. of Cocoa
- 2 tbsp. of Vanilla
- 1 tsp. of Baking Powder
- Melted Chocolate for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- Melt the chocolate and set aside to cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the melted chocolate, milk, cocoa, and vanilla until combined.
- In another bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add to the chocolate mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, decorate with melted chocolate as desired.
Notes
Ensure your butter is at room temperature for easy mixing. Don’t overmix the batter; mix until just combined for a fluffy cake.
