Description

A rich and moist chocolate cake that’s perfect for birthdays and celebrations. Easy to make and delicious!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Wheat Flour
  • 100 g Dark or Milk Chocolate
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 200 g Butter
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • Melted Chocolate for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. In a double boiler, melt the dark or milk chocolate with the butter.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until foamy.
  4. Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture to the eggs.
  5. Mix in the vanilla, cocoa, and baking powder.
  6. Gradually add the flour, alternating with the milk, while mixing well.
  7. Pour the mixture into a previously floured baking dish and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Once baked, cut the cake in half horizontally and add melted chocolate to taste.
  10. Decorate the top with plenty of melted chocolate and any additional toppings you like.

Notes

Store any leftover cake in an airtight container for up to three days at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze individual slices for up to three months.
