  • Author: olivia

Description

Delightful treats that blend creamy goodness with the tropical flavor of coconut, these chocolate truffles are perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 250g mascarpone cheese (or cream cheese)
  • 80g sugar (or agave nectar or honey)
  • 150g coconut flour (or almond flour)
  • Hazelnut spread
  • Additional shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese and sugar. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the coconut flour to the mixture, blending until you reach a firm, moldable dough. Adjust with more coconut flour if the dough is too sticky.
  3. Scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Press your thumb into the center of each ball to create a small indentation.
  4. Place a small amount of hazelnut spread in the indentation, then roll the truffle again to seal the filling inside.
  5. Roll each truffle in shredded coconut for extra flavor and texture.
  6. Place the truffles on a plate and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.

Notes

For a stronger coconut flavor, consider adding coconut extract. They can also be rolled in crushed nuts or cocoa powder for variety.
