Description
Delightful treats that blend creamy goodness with the tropical flavor of coconut, these chocolate truffles are perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 250g mascarpone cheese (or cream cheese)
- 80g sugar (or agave nectar or honey)
- 150g coconut flour (or almond flour)
- Hazelnut spread
- Additional shredded coconut
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese and sugar. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the coconut flour to the mixture, blending until you reach a firm, moldable dough. Adjust with more coconut flour if the dough is too sticky.
- Scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Press your thumb into the center of each ball to create a small indentation.
- Place a small amount of hazelnut spread in the indentation, then roll the truffle again to seal the filling inside.
- Roll each truffle in shredded coconut for extra flavor and texture.
- Place the truffles on a plate and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
Notes
For a stronger coconut flavor, consider adding coconut extract. They can also be rolled in crushed nuts or cocoa powder for variety.
