Description

Ingredients

  • 1 chocolate cake mixing box (plus ingredients: eggs, oil, water)
  • 1 cup thick cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare the cake mixture according to the instructions on the box.
  2. Bake the mixture in a greased round mold and let it cool completely.
  3. In a bowl, mix marshmallow fluff, cornstarch, and water until smooth and soft.
  4. In another bowl, beat the thick cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until firm peaks form.
  5. Cut the cooled cake into two equal layers.
  6. On the bottom layer, spread the marshmallow filling and a layer of whipped cream.
  7. Melt butter and chocolate together to make a silky ganache.
  8. Pour the ganache over the top cake layer, allowing it to drip down the sides.
