Description

A delightful and creamy treat that is easy to make and perfect for kids, this cake combines rich flavors and simple ingredients for a fun baking experience.


Ingredients

  • 200 g butter cookies
  • 90 g butter
  • 150 g milk chocolate bars
  • 500 g lean curd
  • 400 g sour cream
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 pack vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 eggs (size M)
  • 50 ml neutral food oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (140°C for circulating air). Line a springform pan (Ø 26cm) with baking paper.
  2. Finely grind the butter cookies in a freezer bag or food processor. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the crumbs, and mix well.
  3. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan and refrigerate.
  4. Roughly chop the chocolate bars and set aside some pieces for garnish.
  5. In a bowl, mix the curd with sour cream, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cornstarch. Add the eggs and oil, then stir in the chopped chocolate.
  6. Pour this mixture over the biscuit base, smoothing the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven’s lower third for about 55 minutes. After 55 minutes, sprinkle the reserved chocolate pieces on top and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Let the cheesecake cool completely on a rack, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.

Notes

For best results, prepare the day before and store the cake covered in the fridge. Experiment with different chocolates or add fruit for a fun twist.
