Description

A delicious and simple dish featuring tender chicken with a hint of seasonings, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or 4 small)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Sear the chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Serve hot with a side of sautéed spinach or vegetables.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the chicken; use a meat thermometer to check that it reaches 165°F (75°C). Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after baking for juiciness. Feel free to add spinach or mushrooms for a Florentine twist.
