  • 1 loaf French bread, sliced thick
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced or shredded
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush this mixture over the sliced French bread.
  3. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 5–7 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Meanwhile, combine the cooked chicken with the Alfredo sauce in a bowl.
  5. Once the bread is toasted, spoon the chicken mixture over each slice. Then, top generously with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot!

Notes

Use day-old French bread for a sturdier base. Feel free to add seasonings or extra cheese to enhance flavors.
