- 1 loaf French bread, sliced thick
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced or shredded
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush this mixture over the sliced French bread.
- Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 5–7 minutes until lightly golden.
- Meanwhile, combine the cooked chicken with the Alfredo sauce in a bowl.
- Once the bread is toasted, spoon the chicken mixture over each slice. Then, top generously with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot!
Notes
Use day-old French bread for a sturdier base. Feel free to add seasonings or extra cheese to enhance flavors.
