Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package of puff pastry (2 sheets)
- 1 cup fresh or canned cherry pie filling
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon milk (for egg wash)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2–3 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

- Cut each sheet into 4 squares.
- Place 1-2 tablespoons of cherry filling in the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry over to make a triangle and press the edges to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg with the tablespoon of milk. Brush this mixture over the tops of the turnovers.
- Place the turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
