- 36 Golden Oreo cookies
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tub (16 oz.) Cool Whip, divided
- 2 cans (21 oz. each) cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Pulse the Golden Oreo cookies in a food processor until they are fine crumbs. Mix in the melted butter until well combined.
- Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust.
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gently fold in 8 oz. of Cool Whip with a rubber spatula until fully combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the Oreo crust. Refrigerate while preparing the next layer.
- Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Spread the remaining 8 oz. of Cool Whip evenly over the cherry layer.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving to allow the layers to set. Enjoy!
Notes
For a more intense flavor, add a few drops of almond extract to the cream cheese layer. This dessert can be customized with different pie fillings.
