Ingredients

- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp oil for cooking
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef with the onion, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper until the beef is browned. Set aside to cool.
- In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, egg, flour, salt, and pepper until a dough forms.
- Take a portion of the dough, flatten it in your hand, add a spoonful of the beef mixture and some cheese in the center, then fold and seal it to form a patty.
- Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the patties until golden and crispy on both sides. Serve hot.
Notes
Make sure your mashed potatoes are well-seasoned for the best flavor. You can adjust the type of cheese based on your preference.
