A delightful snack or meal option that combines the flavors of ranch and chicken in a flaky crescent roll.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans crescent dough (8 oz each)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough onto the baking sheet, separating the dough into triangles.
  3. In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ranch seasoning, cream cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Stir until well combined.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each crescent triangle.
  5. Roll the dough up, starting from the wide end, and tuck the sides in to create a pocket.
  6. Arrange the filled crescent rolls on the baking sheet and brush the tops with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and fully cooked through.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, you can sprinkle some breadcrumbs on top before baking. Use leftover rotisserie chicken to save time or substitute chicken with cooked mushrooms for a vegetarian version.
