- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 24 slices pepperoni
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan
- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Carefully separate the crescent dough triangles. Place 3 slices of pepperoni and about 2 tablespoons of mozzarella cheese on each triangle. Start rolling from the wide end to the tip.
- Use a brush to coat the rolled croissants with the beaten egg. Sprinkle grated parmesan, dried Italian herbs, and a pinch of black pepper on top.
- Put the rolls in the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes or until they are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
- Allow the rolls to cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
These rolls are best served warm and can be paired with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
