- 2 large chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 4 flour tortillas
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar (or cheese blend)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the chicken strips with olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Heat a grill or pan over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden and cooked through.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour to form a roux. Gradually stir in the milk, stirring continuously until smooth. Once combined, add the shredded cheese and garlic powder, stirring until the sauce is creamy.
- Warm the tortillas in a pan or microwave. Place some grilled chicken in the center of each tortilla, drizzle with cheese sauce, and roll them up tightly.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley for color and flavor. Serve the wraps warm and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours before cooking. You can customize with any cheese, or add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach.
