Description

A delightful side dish that combines sweet corn with rich garlic butter and melted cheese, perfect for summer barbecues and picnics.


Ingredients

  • 4 ears of corn, husked
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking dish with foil or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush each ear of corn generously with the garlic butter mixture and place in the baking dish.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, turning once halfway through.
  5. Remove from oven, sprinkle with shredded cheese, and return to bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is bubbly and melted.
  6. Top with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a spicy twist, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter mixture. You can also experiment with different types of cheese.
