A delicious and easy-to-make casserole featuring ground beef, creamy sauce, and the delightful crunch of Doritos. Perfect for family dinners!
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 can diced green chilies (optional)
- 3 cups shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese blend
- 1 (9.75 oz) bag nacho cheese Doritos, slightly crushed
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- Sliced jalapeños (for topping)
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain the fat, then add taco seasoning and water. Simmer until thickened.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom or chicken soup, sour cream, and green chilies (if using). Mix until creamy.
- In a greased 9×13 dish, layer 1/3 of the crushed Doritos, then 1/2 of the meat mixture, and 1/2 of the cheese. Repeat the layers, then top with the final Dorito layer and remaining cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
- Top with diced tomatoes and sliced jalapeños. Serve hot!
Notes
Customize with your favorite toppings or add spice with jalapeños or hot sauce.
