Description
A fun and easy casserole combining crunchy Doritos, a flavorful beef mixture, and lots of cheese – perfect for family dinners or game day gatherings.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom or nacho cheese soup
- 1 bag Nacho Cheese Doritos, slightly crushed
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced green chiles
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain the fat, then add the taco seasoning and water. Simmer until thickened.
- Stir in the soup and half of each cheese.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer half the crushed Doritos.
- Add the beef mixture, then the remaining cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the rest of the Doritos and beef mixture.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes, or until bubbly.
- Before serving, top with diced tomatoes and green chiles.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add more green chiles or hot sauce to the beef mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3–4 days.
