- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine uncooked rice, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, milk, and garlic powder. Mix well.
- Place the chicken breasts in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pour the rice mixture over the chicken breasts, ensuring the rice is well distributed.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
You can add vegetables like peas or broccoli for extra nutrition. Leftovers can be stored for 3 to 4 days in an airtight container.
