Ingredients

  • 1 large cauliflower head
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, or a mix)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Cut the cauliflower head into thick slices to form ‘steaks’.
  3. Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with olive oil and season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Place the steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each steak.
  7. Return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm.
