Ingredients

  • 1 pound broccoli florets
  • 1/2 pound cauliflower florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the broccoli and cauliflower florets, cooking until just tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, followed by the breadcrumbs.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
