  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and spread it evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish, pressing the seams together.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the first layer of dough.
  5. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cream cheese layer, pressing the seams together.
  6. Brush melted butter over the top layer and sprinkle with cinnamon and the remaining sugar mixture.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool for 20 minutes before slicing and serving. Optionally, drizzle with honey.
