- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp salt (for caramel)

- 1/4 cup powdered sugar

- Caramel sauce (for drizzling)
- Sprinkles (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and line a 10×15-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs and granulated sugar until thick and pale. Add vanilla extract and water, mixing until smooth. Gradually fold in dry ingredients.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cake springs back when touched.
- Remove from oven and invert onto a kitchen towel dusted with powdered sugar. Roll the cake up with the towel and let it cool completely.
- In a saucepan, melt unsalted butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, heavy cream, and salt, bringing it to a simmer. Cook for 3-4 minutes until thickened, then stir in vanilla extract and cool.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Once cooled, unroll the cake and spread a thin layer of caramel filling over it, then add whipped cream. Gently re-roll the cake.
- Transfer to a serving platter, drizzle with extra caramel sauce, and add sprinkles if desired.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
Be gentle while rolling to avoid cracking. Dust the towel with powdered sugar before rolling to prevent sticking.
