Description
A delightful dessert combining creamy cheesecake with caramel and chocolate, topped with a sprinkle of sea salt.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 tsp sea salt
- Whipped cream for garnish
- Extra mini chocolate chips for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and beat in the eggs one at a time. Stir in the sour cream until well incorporated.
- Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the prepared crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let the cheesecake cool completely in the pan.
- Once cooled, drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake. Sprinkle with sea salt.
- Finish with a dollop of whipped cream and extra mini chocolate chips on top. Slice and enjoy!
