A delightful dessert combining creamy cheesecake with caramel and chocolate, topped with a sprinkle of sea salt.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • Whipped cream for garnish
  • Extra mini chocolate chips for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and beat in the eggs one at a time. Stir in the sour cream until well incorporated.
  5. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the prepared crust.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let the cheesecake cool completely in the pan.
  8. Once cooled, drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  9. Finish with a dollop of whipped cream and extra mini chocolate chips on top. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, make sure the cream cheese is softened and use high-quality caramel sauce.
