A rich Caramel Brownie Cheesecake combines fudgy brownie and creamy cheesecake topped with warm caramel sauce.

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Beat in the cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder until everything is well mixed.
- Spread the brownie batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 15-20 minutes. Let it cool while you prepare the cheesecake layer.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled brownie layer. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set. Allow to cool completely.
- In a small saucepan, combine the caramel sauce and heavy cream over low heat. Stir until smooth and warmed through.
- Pour the caramel sauce over the cooled cheesecake. Garnish with chocolate shavings.
Notes
Best enjoyed chilled. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
