Description

A delicious dessert that combines rich brownie flavors with creamy cheesecake topped off with smooth caramel sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 package brownie mix
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce + extra for drizzling
  • Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix and bake the brownie batter in a greased 9-inch springform pan. Let it cool completely.
  2. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F (160°C). Blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and eggs one at a time. Then mix in sour cream and heavy cream. Pour over the cooled brownie base.
  3. Drizzle caramel sauce over the cheesecake layer and gently swirl it in with a knife.
  4. Bake until the center is set but slightly jiggly, about 75 minutes. Let the cheesecake cool gradually in the oven, then refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or overnight.
  5. Once chilled, drizzle extra caramel on top and garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

Store the cheesecake in the fridge for up to 5 days. Freeze for up to 2 months wrapped tightly in plastic wrap and foil.
