Description

A delightful dessert that combines the flavors of caramel, apples, and cheesecake, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 2⁄3 cups graham crackers (about 12 full sheets)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 21 oz apple pie filling
  • 3 cups Cool Whip or whipped cream
  • 1 cup caramel sauce, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Crush the graham crackers into fine crumbs.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the crushed graham crackers, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, and melted butter.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan to form the crust.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  6. Add the beaten eggs, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth, scraping the sides of the bowl occasionally.
  7. Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared graham cracker crust.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 23-27 minutes or until the top is dry to the touch.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a bit.
  10. Once the cheesecake has cooled, drizzle 1/2 cup of caramel sauce over the top.
  11. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set.
  12. After chilling, top the cheesecake with apple pie filling.
  13. Spread the Cool Whip or whipped cream evenly over the apple pie filling.
  14. Drizzle with the remaining caramel sauce just before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer freshness, it can be frozen before adding toppings.
