Description

Deliciously sweet and salty Butter Toffee Pretzels that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups mini pretzel twists
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips or chopped peanuts
  • Sea salt flakes, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup over medium heat. Let it simmer for 3–4 minutes until bubbly.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the toffee mixture over the pretzels in a bowl, and toss to coat them evenly.
  5. Spread the coated pretzels on your baking sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle the peanut butter chips on top.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10–12 minutes. After baking, sprinkle with sea salt flakes right away.
  7. Allow the pretzels to cool completely to harden. Once cooled, break them apart and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe bag for up to two months.
