- 340g cream cheese (Philadelphia-style)
- 80g sugar
- 3 eggs at room temperature
- 3ml vanilla extract (1/2 tsp)
- 1 pinch salt
- 150ml whipping cream (30% fat)
- 10g cornstarch (or flour)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) and grease an 18cm springform pan.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Carefully fold in the whipping cream and cornstarch until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes, until the top is burnt and the center is slightly wobbly.
- Allow to cool at room temperature before refrigerating for a few hours or overnight.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
