Description

A delicious dessert with a creamy center and a rich, caramelized top, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 340g cream cheese (Philadelphia-style)
  • 80g sugar
  • 3 eggs at room temperature
  • 3ml vanilla extract (1/2 tsp)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 150ml whipping cream (30% fat)
  • 10g cornstarch (or flour)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) and grease an 18cm springform pan.

  3. Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  5. Carefully fold in the whipping cream and cornstarch until well combined.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes, until the top is burnt and the center is slightly wobbly.
  8. Allow to cool at room temperature before refrigerating for a few hours or overnight.
  9. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure eggs are at room temperature for a smoother batter. Use high-quality cream cheese for the best flavor.
