Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups lift flour
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 100 g cream cheese (or butter)
  • 2 eggs
  • Vanilla essence to taste
  • Dulce de Leche (necessary quantity)

Instructions

  1. Melt the cream cheese or butter in a bowl. Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla essence. Beat until well mixed.
  2. Incorporate the lift flour and grated coconut, stirring until smooth.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture for about 15 minutes to improve its texture.
  4. Preheat your oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Grease a baking mold, pour half of the mixture in, add a layer of dulce de leche, and cover it with the remaining mixture.
  5. Bake for approximately 20 minutes until golden and a skewer comes out clean.
  6. Once baked, cover with sweeter milk and sprinkle with grated coconut. Let cool before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or chilled; pairs well with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
