Brownies with Nutella and Kinder

Description

Rich, fudgy brownies infused with Nutella and topped with crunchy Kinder chocolate. An irresistibly sweet treat perfect for sharing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 140 g (10 tablespoons) of unsalted butter
  • 1 1/4 cup (250 g) of sugar
  • 3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons (65 g) of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 cold large eggs
  • 1/2 cup (65 g) of all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup (75 g) of chopped nuts
  • Hot Nutella for coverage
  • Kinder pieces to decorate

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (325°F) and prepare your brownie mold by greasing it or lining it with waxed paper.
  2. In a heat-resistant bowl, combine the butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Place this bowl in a water bath and mix until the butter melts and all ingredients are well blended. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing vigorously after each addition.
  4. Add the sifted flour and mix until a smooth dough forms, then beat with a spatula for 2 minutes to improve the texture. Gently fold in the chopped nuts.
  5. Pour the dough into the prepared mold. Add hot Nutella on top and use a knife to create a marbled effect.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with some wet crumbs (not liquid).
  7. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting. Decorate with additional melted Nutella or more Kinder pieces on top.

Notes

Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Refrigerate for longer shelf life, but serve at room temperature.
