Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing
  • 20 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Salted caramel sauce for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Melt the butter and chopped chocolate together until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, eggs, vanilla, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until smooth.
  4. Add the chocolate mixture and mix well, then fold in the flour.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the pan and bake for 20-24 minutes.
  6. Allow the brownie base to cool completely.
  7. For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar, sour cream, heavy cream, and vanilla, mixing until creamy.
  8. Pour cheesecake filling over the cooled brownie base and chill for at least 4 hours.
  9. Top with salted caramel sauce before serving.
  10. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature for a smoother mixture. Allow the brownie layer to cool completely before adding the cheesecake layer to avoid melting.
