A comforting dish that combines tender broccoli with rice and creamy cheese, perfect as a side or main dish.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk or cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the cooked rice, steamed broccoli florets, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Toss the panko breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle them on top of the casserole.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes, or until the dish is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Use leftover rice to save time on preparation. You can add cooked chicken or turkey for added protein.
