Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Sauté the chopped onion in butter until soft.
  2. Stir in the flour and cook for another minute.
  3. Slowly add the milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
  4. Add the broccoli florets and shredded cheddar cheese; cook until broccoli is soft and cheese is melted.

Notes

For a smoother texture, use an immersion blender after adding the broccoli. You can also add cooked chicken or other vegetables for variation.
