Description

A delightful Brazilian-inspired cake that combines rich chocolate flavors with a soft, moist texture, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup Nesquik (or other chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the oil and sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the milk and mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the self-rising flour and Nesquik, mixing until there are no lumps.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Serve plain, with powdered sugar, chocolate syrup, or alongside ice cream or whipped cream. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to four days or frozen for three months.
