Description

A delightful twist on lasagna combining hearty breakfast flavors with layers of classic ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 large eggs, scrambled
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta or cottage cheese
  • 8 slices crispy bacon, crumbled (plus extra for topping)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Scramble the eggs in a separate bowl and cook the bacon until it is crispy.
  3. Begin layering in a baking dish: cooked noodles, ground beef, scrambled eggs, ricotta cheese, shredded cheeses, and crumbled bacon.
  4. Repeat these layers, finishing with a top layer of cheese and some bacon bits.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze before baking.
