Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a flat surface and press the seams together to form a single sheet of dough.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Spread this mixture over the dough sheet.
  4. Evenly sprinkle the blueberries over the cream cheese filling and add the lemon zest on top.
  5. Starting from the long edge, carefully roll the dough into a log, slice into 8-10 equal rounds, and place cut side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
