Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • Blue food coloring
  • 1/4 cup maraschino cherries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  2. Add vanilla and almond extracts.
  3. Add blue food coloring to achieve desired hue.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Optionally, fold in maraschino cherries.
  6. Transfer ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  7. Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy!
