- 8 eggs
- 200 g flour
- 300 g sugar
- 50 g bitter cocoa
- Cherry (necessary amount)
- 500 ml milk cream
- 425 g icing sugar
- 300 g semi-bitter chocolate
- Cherry liquor or other liquor (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Instructions
- Beat the eggs with the sugar until thick. Sift and mix in the flour and cocoa.
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Divide the mixture into three greased molds and bake for 15 minutes. Let cool.
- For the filling cream, beat the milk cream with vanilla essence and icing sugar until hard peaks form.
- Assemble the cake: Place the first layer, optionally soak with cherry liquor, spread cream, and add cherries. Repeat with the second and third layers.
- Top with cream and decorate with cherries and chocolate.
- Refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use high-quality cocoa powder. Allow cakes to cool completely before assembling.
