Ingredients

- 1 can refrigerated biscuits (Grands-style recommended)
- 1/2 lb breakfast sausage
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Flatten and press the biscuits together on a greased pizza pan to form a crust, slightly building up the edges. Pre-bake the crust for 8–10 minutes.
- In a skillet, brown the sausage over medium heat. Do not drain the fat.
- Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and stir for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in the milk. Add black pepper and garlic powder if using. Simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Spread the sausage gravy evenly over the biscuit crust. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and a few extra sausage bits on top.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Top with chopped parsley, slice, and enjoy warm!
