Description

A refreshing and colorful fruit salad combining sweet watermelon, berries, and unique dragon fruit, perfect for hot days.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups watermelon, cut into 1-inch pieces or scooped with a melon baller
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 2 cups raspberries
  • 1 dragon fruit, halved and scooped with a melon baller
  • 2 cups cherries, pitted and halved
  • 34 fresh mint leaves, roughly chopped
  • 12 teaspoons poppy seeds, as desired

Instructions

  1. Cut the watermelon into 1-inch pieces or use a melon baller.
  2. Slice the strawberries, pit and halve the cherries, and scoop out the dragon fruit into balls or cubes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, gently toss together the watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, dragon fruit, and cherries.
  4. Sprinkle the roughly chopped mint leaves and poppy seeds over the fruit.
  5. Gently toss the salad to distribute the mint and poppy seeds evenly.
  6. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

Choose ripe, fresh fruits for the best taste. Can add honey or lime for added flavor.
