Delicious jumbo pasta shells filled with a creamy ricotta and beef mixture, topped with marinara and melted cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil the pasta shells according to package instructions, drain, and let cool.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in marinara sauce and remove from heat.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Fill each pasta shell with the ricotta mixture, then place them in a baking dish.
  6. Top each shell with the beef mixture, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve and enjoy this comforting, cheesy Beef-Stuffed Shells dish!

Notes

For a lighter option, use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
