A delicious and satisfying dish that combines tender beef, colorful vegetables, and chewy noodles in a flavorful sauce.
Ingredients

- 8 oz lo mein or yakisoba noodles
- 1/2 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame)
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)
Instructions
- Prepare noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Sear beef strips until browned, about 2–3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add more oil if needed. Stir-fry broccoli and bell pepper for 2–3 minutes until crisp-tender.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch slurry.
- Add cooked noodles, beef, and sauce back to the pan. Toss everything together for 2–3 minutes until heated through and well coated.
- Plate hot and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Best served hot. Can be garnished with chopped green onions or sesame seeds.
