- 8 oz lo mein noodles (or spaghetti)
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Toss the beef with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, and cornstarch. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes to soak up the flavors.
- Boil the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set them aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Add the marinated beef and sear it until browned. Remove it from the pan.
- In the same pan, stir-fry broccoli, bell pepper, garlic, and ginger for 3–4 minutes until the veggies are tender.
- Return the beef to the pan, add the cooked noodles, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and the remaining sesame oil. Toss everything well to combine and heat through.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds on top.
Notes
Slice beef thinly against the grain for tenderness. Adjust vegetables to your preference.
