Description

A savory stir-fried noodle dish featuring tender beef, colorful vegetables, and delectable sauces.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz lo mein or egg noodles
  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  1. Toss the sliced beef with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it sit for 10 minutes to soak up the flavors.
  2. Boil the noodles until they are al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan. Stir-fry the marinated beef until browned, then remove it from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, cook the garlic, onion, broccoli, and carrot until they are just tender.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the pan, add the noodles along with the remaining sauces. Toss everything together over medium heat until evenly coated.
  6. Plate the dish hot and enjoy the homemade takeout vibes!

Notes

Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions for an extra touch.
