  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth, bringing it to a simmer. Reduce heat and let it cook for 3-4 minutes to thicken slightly.
  6. Add the grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella, stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  7. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
  8. Toss the cooked bowtie pasta into the sauce until well coated.
  9. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, use ground turkey instead of beef. Add vegetables like spinach or peas for extra nutrition.
