- 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth, bringing it to a simmer. Reduce heat and let it cook for 3-4 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Add the grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella, stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Toss the cooked bowtie pasta into the sauce until well coated.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, use ground turkey instead of beef. Add vegetables like spinach or peas for extra nutrition.
