- 1 pre-made pizza crust (or homemade dough)
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat up.
- Spread barbecue sauce evenly over the pizza crust.
- Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the sauce.
- Evenly distribute the cooked chicken and red onion slices over the cheese.
- Transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle with chopped cilantro for a fresh touch.
- Slice and serve hot.
Notes
Great on its own or paired with a simple side salad. Serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side for dipping.
