A quick and easy salmon dish with a crispy exterior and a sweet and spicy sauce that elevates your meal.
Ingredients

- 2 salmon fillets (about 5–6 oz each, skin on or off)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
- Rub the spice mixture over the salmon fillets.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sear the salmon for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the salmon to a baking dish and finish cooking in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
- Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.
Notes
For best results, pat the salmon dry before applying the spice mixture. Adjust spices to taste and consider adding lime juice for extra zing.
