Description

A fun and delicious milkshake that combines the classic flavors of a banana split with creamy ice cream, perfect for warm days or as a delightful treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large bananas, sliced and frozen
  • 1 cup (240ml) milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 2 scoops strawberry ice cream
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate sauce
  • Peanut butter drizzle (optional)
  • Granola or chopped nuts
  • Fresh banana slices
  • Fresh strawberries & raspberries
  • Dark chocolate shavings (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, add half of the frozen bananas, strawberry ice cream, strawberries, and 1/2 cup milk. Blend until smooth. Pour this mixture into the bottom of two tall glasses. Rinse the blender, then blend the remaining frozen bananas, vanilla ice cream, vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup milk until creamy. Gently pour this vanilla layer over the strawberry layer.
  2. Pipe or spoon whipped cream generously on top of the milkshake. Drizzle chocolate sauce and peanut butter over the whipped cream. Sprinkle granola or chopped nuts, then add fresh banana slices and strawberries. For the ultimate finish, garnish with chocolate shavings and more chocolate drizzle! Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy!

Notes

For a thicker shake, use less milk. Adjust sweetness with honey or sugar as desired. You can also make it dairy-free by using vegan ice cream and milk.
