Description

A delightful treat that combines the classic banana split dessert into a delicious cake form, perfect for special occasions or satisfying sweet cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup of whipped cream
  • 1 cup of strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup of pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to cake mix directions and prepare the cake mix as directed. Bake the cake in a 9×13 inch pan. Let it cool completely.
  2. Once cooled, slice the cake horizontally into two layers. Place one layer on a serving platter.
  3. Spread half of the whipped cream over the first layer of cake, then top with half of the sliced bananas, strawberries, and pineapple.
  4. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with nuts if using.
  5. Place the second layer of cake on top and repeat the process with the remaining whipped cream, fruits, and chocolate syrup.
  6. Garnish with maraschino cherries on top.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
