Description

A sweet and refreshing dessert that combines ripe bananas, creamy custard, and a crunchy cookie crust, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 34 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup crushed cookies

Instructions

  1. Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into a baking dish to form a crust.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, flour, and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
  3. Beat egg yolks and gradually add to the mixture. Cook for 2 more minutes, then remove from heat.
  4. Stir in butter and vanilla extract. Let the custard cool.
  5. Slice bananas and layer them over the crust.
  6. Pour the custard over the bananas and spread evenly.
  7. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle crushed cookies on top.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Best served chilled. Can be customized with different fruits or pudding layers.
