- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3–4 ripe bananas
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 1/2 cup crushed cookies
Instructions
- Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into a baking dish to form a crust.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, flour, and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Beat egg yolks and gradually add to the mixture. Cook for 2 more minutes, then remove from heat.
- Stir in butter and vanilla extract. Let the custard cool.
- Slice bananas and layer them over the crust.
- Pour the custard over the bananas and spread evenly.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle crushed cookies on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Best served chilled. Can be customized with different fruits or pudding layers.
