A creamy dessert that combines the flavors of banana cream pie with cheesecake, featuring a buttery graham cracker crust and topped with whipped cream.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 (8-ounce) package Cool Whip, thawed, divided
  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1 (3.4-ounce) package instant banana cream pie pudding mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and sugar together. Reserve 1/2 cup of this mixture for topping later.
  3. Press the remaining graham cracker mixture into the bottom of the pan and bake for 7 minutes. Once done, let it cool completely.
  4. Layer half of the sliced bananas on top of the cooled crust.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Gently fold in 2 cups of Cool Whip, then spread this mixture over the banana layer.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and pudding mix until it starts to thicken. Now fold in the remaining Cool Whip and spread this over the cheesecake layer.
  7. Sprinkle the reserved graham cracker crumbs on top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
  8. Slice the cheesecake, serve chilled, and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, you can layer chocolate chips or caramel sauce. Use lemon juice on banana slices to prevent browning.
